Overview
Sa Lugar (the app) is built by patterueldev. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.
Data We Collect

What We Do Not Collect
- Name, email address, or phone number
- Contacts or address book
- Photos, videos, or microphone recordings
- Browsing history
- Precise location history. Location is only used when you request a route search.
- Payment information
How We Use Your Data
- Route planning: Your location and destination are used to find jeepney routes and plan transit itineraries.
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us improve the app and understand how riders use it. Firebase Analytics is currently configured but disabled in the app.
- No advertising: We do not use your data for advertising or share it with ad networks.
- No profiling: We do not build behavioral profiles of users.
Data Storage
- On your device: Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. These tokens are deleted when you use the Delete My Data option.
- On our servers: Your device UUID and route search history are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on our infrastructure. All communication between the app and the backend is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).

Firebase Analytics is configured in the app but is currently disabled. No analytics data is being sent to Google at this time.
Your Rights
Delete Your Data
You can delete all data associated with your device at any time:
- Open Sa Lugar
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap Delete My Data
This permanently removes your device registration, access tokens, and associated data from our servers. You will be logged out and can re-register with a new anonymous account.
Access Your Data
Since the app does not collect personal identifying information, there is no mechanism to request a copy of your data beyond the anonymous device UUID. Contact us at the support URL below if you have questions.
Children's Privacy
Sa Lugar is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data collection is anonymous and device-based, with no age-gating or parental consent mechanisms required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
