1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Sa Lugar (the app), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app is built and maintained by patterueldev.

2. The Service

Sa Lugar is a jeepney route guidance and transit planning application. Features include:

• Browsing jeepney routes overlaid on an interactive map
• Viewing street-by-street route guidance and points of interest
• Planning multi-jeepney trips with transfers (alpha feature)
• Submitting route suggestions to improve the platform

The service is currently focused on Iloilo City, Philippines, with plans to expand to other cities over time.

3. Accuracy of Information

Routes, street guidance, stop locations, and points of interest displayed in the app are sourced from community contributions and database records. While we strive for accuracy:

• Route paths may not reflect real-time road conditions, closures, or detours.
• Points of interest may have moved, closed, or changed names since publication.
• Transit planning results are estimates and do not account for traffic, weather, or vehicle availability.

Sa Lugar is not a substitute for official transit authority information. Verify critical route information with the driver, terminal staff, or local transit authorities before traveling.

4. Community Contributions

Users may submit route suggestions through the app. By submitting a suggestion, you agree that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The submission becomes part of the platform and may be used, modified, or published at our discretion.
• Offensive, misleading, or spam submissions are prohibited and may result in the suspension of your access to the service.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or reject any community submission.

5. Account and Registration

The app uses anonymous device-based registration. A random identifier is generated when you first launch the app. No personal information such as your name, email, or phone number is required or collected.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time through the Profile tab, then Delete My Data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Use the app to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the backend API or servers.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the service without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sa Lugar name, logo, app design, and source code are the intellectual property of patterueldev. Route data, points of interest, and street guidance are made available for personal, non-commercial use.

Map data is provided by Apple Maps and is subject to Apple's terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• That route information is complete, accurate, or current.
• That transit planning results are achievable in real-world conditions.

Your use of the app is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including the Civil Code of the Philippines, patterueldev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to:

• Missed trips, delays, or transportation costs.
• Reliance on inaccurate route or point-of-interest information.
• Loss of data or device issues.

In any event, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, which is zero because the app is free.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or the support website. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Iloilo City.
